Good News

Hello everybody, this marks the first week of no more classes for me until next semester, yes!!!! That means no reading, no writing papers, no group projects, no nothing until mid-January. So now, I can actually work outside in the cold but that’s ok, I definitely need to work (at least that’s what Jill is telling me, lol). I have not intentionally neglected the blog, I just have been so wrapped up in my school work and my final class projects that I have not had too much time to update the blog.

First of all, to all the teens: You guys & gals did a fantastic job leading the service at church on Sunday the 7th. I have received so many compliments about how well everybody did. The worship service was awesome, and the thing is, your participation is what allowed the spirit to flow so freely in that service, there were mighty spiritual and emotional healings that took place in that service and I know that our sincere and prayerful hearts is what set the stage for the service. You may think that it will be hard to duplicate that service but the important thing to keep in mind is that as long as we totally surrender to God each and everytime and allow him to minister through us then there will always be a moving of his spirit. It may not be the same thing as before but it will be the right thing, for that particular service.

Branson Update: Thanks to everyone who has given so generously to our fundraising efforts that all go toward our Branson Youth Conference. Our goal was to raise at least $1,000, I do not have the totals to this point but I believe we are unofficially over $1,300 and money is still coming in. We have the raffel that is still going on thru this Sunday the 21st. Most of you know Spring and her sister Penny…they have so graciously helped us out with their time, money, and talents. They both have made jewelry and an afghan that they are donating 100% of the profits to the Branson Trip. They are both awesome, thanks so much to both of you.

ClubIdentity (youth group) has seen a lot of growth in the past couple of months and we are excited about our newest members, we look forward great things that the Lord is doing through each and everyone of you.

I hope each and everyone of you have a great Christmas but please don’t forget the real meaning of Christmas. It’s so easy to get caught up in the frenzy that we all seem to get caught up in. Remember to be thankful for all that you have and to remember those that are less fortunate than you and I.

Hey Club Identity, just want to say..You all did great at “leading” JSWC in P&W. We were so blessed! I was honored to be a part of that day and watching each of you, with tear-filled eyes, and trying to play the keyboard and watching my baby n the front row soaking up the anointing. I will never forget it. Each of you mean the world to us.

I cannot express in words how much we are thrilled with all you teens and leaders of Club Identity. It is such a blessing to see all of you growing in the Lord. I can see great things coming into focus in the Body of Christ, as we move into greater things in Him. Keep your eyes on the prize, Christ Jesus. Can’t wait to hear more good testimonies.
